Servants at Work, Inc.

The Cooperative Council of Ministries originally  incorporated Servants at Work, Inc. (SAW), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, in 1997 to solicit donations of money, materials, and services from the community to be used in the construction and furnishing of the Hilda Barg Homeless Prevention Center located at 14945 Jeff Davis Hwy, Woodbridge, VA 22191.  SAW was responsible for raising almost $250,000 in grants, services, and materials for the new shelter.  

Today, SAW continues to be used to gather donations of money and other items used in the operation of the Bill Mehr Drop-in Center for the chronically homeless.  Click on Bill Mehr Drop-In Center for information on how to make donations.
