Our Mission:

Empowered by the Grace of God, and acknowledging that we can accomplish more together, The Cooperative Council of Ministries is a coalition of Christian churches actively witnessing our common faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through advocacy and service to those in need.

Who We Are:

We are a coalition of Christian churches who actively witness our common faith in Jesus Christ through advocacy and service.

What We Do:
  • We coordinate with our partners to provide the meals at the Hilda Barg Homeless Prevention Center. See our list of CCoM partners in this website.

  • We partner with the Prince William County Department of Social Services and our independent 501c(3) affiliate Servants at Work to help finance and operate the Bill Mehr Drop-In Center.

  • We advocate for affordable housing, healthcare, social and community services, better education and equal opportunity for people who are in need, homeless or in poverty.
  • We collect donations, dues and money from special events to help finance our mission.
  • We provide a monthly forum for sharing information among public and private organizations to help people in need in our community. See the Meeting Schedule in this website to see our monthly meetings.
